Dexalot is an omni-chain order book DEX with zero slippage, near-zero gas fees, and is on its own app-specific chain, allowing users to deposit from and withdraw to multiple chains. Dexalot is also fully on-chain and non-custodial.
Dexalot provides multiple services, with the most important ones being: Central Limit Order Book: Trade assets with full control over your order price, just like on a traditional exchange. Our CLOB platform is operating on our Avalanche L1 so it’s fast, secure and cost-effective. SimpleSwap: Easily swap assets with one-click, including cross-chain swaps with zero slippage. These services allow you to trade, swap, and manage your assets efficiently while benefiting from Dexalot’s decentralized infrastructure.
Dexalot's CLOB operates on an omnichain structure, allowing you to deposit and bridge assets from any supported networks. It currently support Avalanche, Base and Arbitrum networks but we’ll be adding many more soon, including Monad, Solana, and others. If you prefer not to deal with the bridging process, you can also use SimpleSwap to cross-swap your assets with a single click.
The first pair of Dexalot (AVAX/USDT.e) was listed as part of the deployment process. The deployment script was designed to deploy the smart contracts, add the first pair and transfer the ownership of the exchange to a 3-of-4 multisig wallet. With that said, any new trading pair needs to be listed through an approval process by this multisig wallet. Dexalot project members collectively hold only one out of 4 keys required to execute any operational decision for the exchange. Dexalot values community participation and there will subsequently be a transition to governance that will guide the decision making of the multisig.
With Dexalot now running on its own Avalanche L1, users can expect and experience faster transaction speeds, lower fees, and improved scalability. The Avalanche L1 allows for better performance and customization, ensuring a smoother trading experience while maintaining security and decentralization. Additionally, the flexibility in coding will allow the team to also add features with new order types or other related products and services.
DeFi composability on Avalanche is indeed excitingly going to increase with the introduction of customizable EVM-compatible blockchains. Dexalot has security at the core of all development. We encourage traders and smart contract developers to help scrutinize our on-chain code and become part of this development.
Governance will be based in part on an OpenZeppelin framework. In general, it will be similar but the thresholds for various actions will differ. More details and documentation will be provided as we approach implementation.
It is a non-custodial, permissionless decentralized exchange. Therefore, for average users the key advantage is that the control of their assets will be always in their hands. There are no frequent, unexpected maintenance periods that block deposits, withdrawals, or trading in general. Also, you have the ability to name your price through limit orders and that should give you the peace of mind that your orders never get executed worse than your price. There are minimized slippage risks
The "Available Portfolio" is calculated as: “Portfolio Total - Funds tied up in open trades.” If you can't use or withdraw your assets, it's possible your trade is still in progress. Please check your open orders to see if that's the case.
